'Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there and did not die'
'An Elvis man myself and having seen many a tribute artist over the years the film explores the world of the UK Elvis Presley tribute.
The film focuses on three tribute artists: Michael King, frequently touring theatres around the country with his live band and loyal following; Andy Rogers, ex-Elvis tribute now manager of many tribute and entertainment acts and Martin Walters, performing regularly in pubs and clubs the talented young man takes up the mantle of Elvis' legacy.
Journeying from the discussion of the adulation of Elvis and why the tributes do what they do to the reality of performing as Elvis as a vocation in today’s world the documentary humanly showcases this overlooked keystone of British culture.
The film was shown as the final work of my degree and made to be a large scale three-screen projection forming a visual conversation between the tributes artists and environments.'
